The keyring in this listing is an original Ferrari keyring which will have been produced in England over 45 years ago .

This keyring is an original British made Ferrari keyring which will have been produced in the 1970s .

Whilst this keyring is an example of a British produced Ferrari keyring – Ferrari have always produced their own superb quality keyrings in Italy .

Ferrari’s own Italian made keyrings are some of the highest quality and best designed keyrings ever produced.

We are currently listing just this one example of this particular British made keyring  – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This keyring is in excellent condition with an acrylic dome badge .

You may notice that the badge is slightly askew on the plated metal badge mount !

In the 1970s these keyrings were individually hand assembled and quality control was obviously not of the highest standard and most certainly not up to the exacting standards of Ferrari’s own Italian made keyrings .

The black keyfob has a glossy grained texture and does resemble faux leather ………………but we do believe it to be in genuine leather ….but could be wrong .

Made by Renamel of London who were the first keyring manufacturer to offer keyrings like these with acrylic dome badges  .

These acrylic badges were quite a revelation at the time and did not chip when dropped onto a hard surface like the traditional vitreous enamel keyfob badges .

The reverse of the badges on their earliest keyrings were marked ‘RENAMEL london england ‘ – like this one .

In the 1960s & 1970s almost all keyrings for the world’s cars were produced in England – it was quite an industry .
