We are not licensed by Ferrari or any of their representatives to reproduce any of the registered Ferrari logos and badge designs.
The keyring in this listing is an original Ferrari dealership keyring which will have been produced and issued over 45 years ago – in the late 1970s .
We are listing just this one example of this keyring – the only one which we have ever seen & listed – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
This keyring is in new old stock condition with an acrylic dome badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather – it will never have been used.
Possibly 2 keyrings would have been issued with each car sold – one to use and one for the spare keys kept at home.
This dealership keyring could well have been that 2nd keyring with the spare keys .
It will have been produced by Renamel Ltd whilst based in Kilburn High Road London – they later moved to Honey Pot Lane .
Renamel produced some of the first acrylic badged keyrings in the 1970s which had the very real advantage over traditional vitreous enamel badged keyrings in that the badge did not crack or break when dropped onto a hard surface – this keyring is one of those early examples .
Their early badges were simply marked ‘made in england’ in lower case on the reverse – like this badge .
The issuing dealership details are gold embossed onto the reverse of the leather keyfob – Emblem Sports Cars of Blandford .
Emblem Sports Cars (UK) was founded in 1972 at Pimperne Garage in Dorset and became a very successful Ferrari Specialist .
Emblem was sold upon the retirement of the founders and disappeared but was then relaunched in 2004 and continues as a very successful business to this day .
This keyring would be of particular interest if placed with a car known to have passed through Emblem at the time .
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
