Ford Commercial - original 1980s? vitreous enamel badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

The keyring in this listing has an original Ford Commercial keyfob badge which will have been produced over 30 years ago which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

We have just this one keyring to offer with an original badge which we would think was made in the 1980s for use with Ford Commercial vehicles of the type shown by the tractor unit on the badge.

We have remounted the badge onto a new keyfob in full grain black leather as can be seen in the photos .

The badge was made by Windsor Group of Birmingham – who were better known as the famous Manhattan Windsor badge & keyring manufacturers at that time.

Maybe Windsor’ was the division making commercial keyrings ?

Haulage Companies and drivers 40 years ago took a great pride in their vehicles ( as many do to this day ) and keyrings were routinely used in the trucks.

Due to the rigours of a busy life on the road very few of these keyrings and badges have survived – so this badge is a rare survivor of what was being used in Ford trucks 40 years ago.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
