Ford - original 1960s? vitreous enamel on gilt blue oval badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

The keyring in this listing has an original Ford keyfob badge which will have been produced around 50 years ago which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This vitreous enamel Ford keyfob badge is in excellent condition with gilt plating and deep cobalt blue enamel .

The blue oval Ford badge was an early design which carried over through the 1950s and then just into the early 1960s .

These keyfob badges were usually produced in the 1950s but we would think that this one will have been produced in the early 1960s .

We very rarely receive these early badges and have gone to the trouble to mount this badge onto a bespoke handcut square keyfob which suits the shape of the badge as can be seen .

We have chosen to use a splitring also in a gilt finish to match the finish of the badge .

The leather we have used for the keyfob is our ‘vintage’ full grain black leather – this is a superb keyring .

The keyring in the photos are the actual one which you will receive .
