Ford - original vintage late 1950s/ early 1960s Avon Cliff keyring in age worn condition

The keyring in this listing is an original vintage Ford keyring which will have been produced around 60 years ago in the late 1950s or early 1960s.

We have just this one keyring in this condition to offer -when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

Although not marked as such this keyring was produced by Avon Cliff badgemakers in the late 1950s or early 1960s and is original & correct for use with any late 1950s or early 1960s Ford motor car .

As can be seen from the listing photos this keyring is in an age worn condition having obviously covered very many miles but is still in a serviceable condition with many miles left in it yet .

A few years ago a keyring in this condition would not have been considered saleable – but attitudes have changed dramatically and many customers now actively search for a keyring which ‘has had a life ‘ to match the unrestored condition of their car .

It is unbelievable how much trouble Avon Cliff put into making these keyrings which must have been individually hand selected and stitched to achieve such a variation of leather colours & stitching colours.

Nowadays this level of attention is termed ‘bespoke’ – here we see an example of this taking place 60 years ago !

The keyring has a hand laid vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine light blue  leather with contrasting stitching  – very up-market for the austere late 1950s &  early 1960s .
