Ford - original vintage melsom keyflix keyring with tan leather keyfob

This is an original keyring which will have been produced around  50 years ago .

This keyring was made by Melsom Products Ltd of Birmingham who were one of the main UK manufacturers of automotive keyrings .

At that time almost all keyrings for the world’s cars were made in Birmingham – it was quite an industry.

The keyring is in very good condition for it’s age with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine tan leather .

It could be new old stock – but there are a few unimportant storage marks in the leather on the back of the keyfob ( which will probably disappear with use )

The leather keyfob has Melsom’s trademark ‘keyflix’ embossed into the leather beneath the badge .
