Ford Taunus - original 1960s gilt badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

The keyring in this listing has an original Ford Taunus keyfob badge which will have been produced around 50 years ago which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

This keyring has an original Ford Taunus gilt badge which dates from the 1960s.

The badge is in very good condition for it’s age.

These gilt badges were often originally treated with lacquer to prevent tarnishing – and we have re-polished the badge and reapplied lacquer to the surface of the badge.

With use this lacquer will tend to wear off in time but the badge will remain bright if kept in use.

The badge is stamped ‘Made in England’ – at that time most automotive keyrings for the world’s cars were made in England – it was quite an industry.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive – it is original & correct for use with any 1960s Ford Taunus motor car.
