1 in stock
An original Ginetta keyring which will have been produced in the 1970s .
We have just this one example to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
This is the only example of one of these original Ginetta Renamel keyrings which we have ever listed – a very rare item .
This keyring is in good condition with an acrylic dome badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather .
The leather keyfob has a glossy grained texture on the face side and does resemble faux leather ………………but is actually genuine leather !
Made by Renamel of London who were the first keyring manufacturer to offer keyrings like these with acrylic dome badges .
Their earliest keyrings were marked ‘RENAMEL’ – like this one .
These acrylic dome badges were quite a revelation at the time and did not chip when dropped onto a hard surface like the usual vitreous enamel keyfob badges .
Renamel used quite an original method of mounting their badges onto their early keyfobs as can be seen in the photos.
The badge has a close spaced double slot through which the badge strap is passed – which effectively locks the badge onto the strap .
Very simple and did work well ( still working well on this 40 year old keyring ! ) but it seems Renamel did later change to a more conventional method of mounting badges onto keyfobs .
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason or cancel your order – a full refund will be given.
