Holden - original 1960s vitreous enamel badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Holden keyfob badge which will have been produced in the 1960s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

This original vitreous enamel on gilt badge is in excellent condition and we have remounted it onto a new keyfob in black saddlery hide.

In the 1960s the enamel was often individually hand laid and each badge turned out slightly different .

This particular badge is a good example of this and has been finished in a high gloss which shows up the slightly undulating surface of the hand laid enamel – rather attractive .

‘ MADE IN ENGLAND ‘ marked on the back of the badge – almost all car keyrings and badges for the world’s cars were made in England in the 1960s & 1970s – it was quite an industry .

This badge will be original & correct for use with any 1960s Holden motor car .
