Honda Civic CVCC - original mid 1970s vitreous enamel badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Honda CVCC keyfob badge which will have been produced in the mid 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob .

When this keyring with this badge has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This vitreous enamel badge is in new old stock mint condition and was made in Birmingham by Manhattan Windsor Ltd  – their details are cast into the back of the badge.

A very rare badge – this is the only example which we have ever listed over the last 10 years.

Produced for the Honda Civic CVCC which was fitted with a compound vortex controlled combustion engine and was offered alongside the standard Honda Civic .

Civic CVCCs did not need a catalytic convertor to meet with the emissions standards of the time.

At that time most keyrings for the world’s cars were made in Birmingham – it was quite an industry.
