What an astonishing item !

This keyring is around 50 years old and looks as though it was made only yesterday !

The vitreous enamel badge and black keyfob are so bright and shiny and fresh that the age of this keyring beggars belief .

The nickel plated badge is in bright daffodil yellow vitreous enamel and is mounted onto a keyfob in black faux leather .

In many ways – faux ( imitation ) leather made much more sense than genuine leather for a bike keyring intended for use in all weathers .

Honda motorcycle keyrings hardly ever come to market in even decent condition let alone the condition that this keyring is in – they were used on open motorcycles in all weathers and suffered accordingly .

‘BRITISH MADE’ proudly marked on the back of the badge – how often do you come across that statement nowadays ?

In the 1970s almost all keyrings for cars & motorcycles were made in Britain – it was quite an industry – the irony being that whilst the keyrings were made in England ……..Japanese bikes like Hondas were at the same time finishing the British motorcycle industry for good until Triumph became reborn again .
