Honda Owner’s Club – original 1990s Renamel keyring with acrylic badge

An original Honda Owner’s Club keyring which we would think will have been produced in the 1990s .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This keyring is in new old stock condition with an acrylic dome badge mounted onto a keyfob in tan faux leather – it will never have been used.

It will have been produced by Renamel Ltd in their final Honeypot Lane London location shortly before they closed their doors .

Renamel had produced some of the first acrylic badged keyrings in the late 1970s & early 1980s which had the very real advantage over traditional vitreous enamel badged keyrings in that the badge did not crack or break when dropped onto a hard surface .

Their original badges were marked ‘ RENAMEL made in England’ on the reverse but later badges like the one mounted onto this keyring were usually no longer marked- this one is actually marked with their details .

Renamel keyrings were budget priced but were well made and were produced in considerable numbers but not many like this one will have survived particularly in this condition – so we would regard this keyring as being a rare survivor .
