Horween Tannery - purple 'Russia' leather keyring

Our other small business Bolingbroke Saddlery ( now combined with Classic Leather Fobs Ltd) used to make a variety of leather keyrings which were sold at events up and down the country.

These were not car related and were very popular and were used by customers who appreciate genuinely handmade leather goods in a variety of interesting leathers and hides.

We are now producing these keyrings again and listing them for sale through this website.

The very forward thinking Horween Tannery in Chicago USA produces this leather which is based on the legendary 225 year old Russia Reindeer leather which we offer keyrings in within this section of the website shop.

Horween have produced this leather with the distinctive cross-hatch grain which was hand embossed by the Russian curriers of St. Petersburg back at the end of the 18th Century.

The quality of that original Russia leather has never been equalled but the appearance of this leather is as close as you will ever get.

The story of the original Russia leather can be found in this website but the story of the new Purple Russia Leather keyrings remains to be written and depends on which keys you choose to attach to them and the worlds which those keys are used to unlock.

Each keyring is embossed with our Bolingbroke Saddlery England brand but can be supplied without this if you prefer – simply ask for the brand to be deleted in the customer notes section of the online order form.
