Indian Motocycle – original watch fob ? enamel badge keyring

An Indian Motocycle keyfob badge or possibly a watch fob ? which we have mounted onto a new keyfob in full grain black leather as can be seen in the photos.

When this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This badge is in mint condition and came to us from USA .

The badge is in translucent red enamel and appears to be plated in silver gilt .

Difficult to put a date on the badge – but it is certainly not as old as the last Indian Chief motocycle to come off the production line in 1952.

It will probably have been made much more recently.

Quite a large badge measuring 1.25″ ( 33mm ) in diameter.

So far as we know it was only the late Indian Chiefs which actually had an ignition key which needed a keyring and the last of those bikes was produced in 1952.

Vintage Indians now command huge interest and this keyring will probably be used in an Indian owner’s motor car rather than on their Indian bike.

A superb item – and the only example of this badge which we have ever seen although more may be located in USA.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
