Jaguar - original vintage 1970s 'black growler' Manhattan Windsor keyring in used condition with chipped enamel badge

An original Jaguar keyring which will have been produced in the 1970s .

Just this one keyring to offer in this used condition – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This keyring is in used but serviceable condition – we know from long experience that it is not every customer who seeks perfection in a vintage keyring – many prefer a keyring which has ‘had a life’ which this one obviously has .

This keyring fulfils that criteria and has almost certainly dangled from the ignition of a Jaguar motor car and accompanied it’s former owner on his or her journeys for many many thousands of miles.

The vitreous enamel badge has a large enamel chip which can be seen in the enlarged high resolution listing photos.

The badge is mounted onto a genuine leather keyfob which is in serviceable condition but is well worn in like a comfortable pair of shoes.

The keyring was made by Manhattan Windsor of Birmingham with their M over W logo on the reverse of the badge.

Examples of this keyring are shown in Bud Marston’s ‘Vintage Jaguar Keyrings’ book featured at the beginning of the Jaguar section here in this website shop .

Bud states that despite the keyring probably having been produced in considerable quantity this keyring is difficult to locate nowadays.

If this keyring was in mint condition ( we have only ever seen & listed one other ) then the price would be very considerably higher than the asking price here.
