KTM - original vintage new old stock early 1970s keyring - collector's item

NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold but has been left on view as it is the only original vintage KTM keyring which we have ever seen and listed .

The only original early KTM keyring which we have ever seen over the last 10 years – try to find another one of these particularly in this condition !

Dating from the early 1970s and in new old stock mint condition, this keyring will have been made by Melsom Products Ltd of Birmingham – their ‘KEYFLIX’ trade mark is just visible beneath the badge embossed in the leather.

KTM ( Kraftfahrzeuge Trunkenpolz Mattighofen ) of Austria built motorcycles from 1951 onwards and produced the Comet mopeds from 1963 -1966.

In 1968 they started to export off road bikes to USA .

In 1970 they began production of their own engines having previously used Sachs units and in 1973 their 250 cross & enduro bike production started.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
