Lagonda – original vintage 1990s new old stock Manhattan Windsor keyring – collector’s item

A superb original new old stock Manhattan Windsor Lagonda keyring which we would think will have been produced during the 1990s – towards the end of Manhattan Windsor’s production .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer  – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

A new old stock Lagonda keyring produced by Manhattan Windsor of Birmingham who have become recognised as being the premier manufacturer of the finest British automotive keyrings ever produced – sadly they closed their doors some time ago having produced keyrings for over 30 years .

This is the only the 3rd example of one of these original Manhattan Windsor Lagonda keyrings which we have ever listed – and most certainly the one in the best condition ( it is brand new ! )

This new old stock keyring has a nickel plated metal badge with jewellery quality black vitreous enamelling of the highest standard .

The reverse of the badge would have been marked with Manhattan Windsor’s details but all that can be seen is ‘ENG’ which would have been ‘ ENGLAND’ ( MADE IN ENGLAND )

Sometimes Manhattan Windsor milled sections out of a solid badge to produce a ‘perforated’ badge – which is what has happened here .

The milled badge was then nickel plated and then enamelled afterwards .

The MANHATTAN WINDSOR detail has disappeared with the milled sections .

The badge is mounted onto a keyfob in a generous thickness of genuine full grain black leather which is gold embossed ‘ TOP GRAIN LEATHER ‘ on the reverse of the keyfob .

This keyring has never been used and is still mounted onto the original display card.

This keyring will be one of the last top quality traditional keyrings with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a genuine leather keyfob ever produced for Lagonda  .

In the 1990s when this keyring was produced there were still Lagondas in regular use on the roads including the more recently produced 1977 onwards Lagonda Series 2 ‘ wedge ‘ saloon .
