Lamborghini - original early 1970s vitreous enamel badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

Original Lamborghini leather keyrings and original Lamborghini keyfob badges are rare items and we seldom have many to offer.

NOW SOLD – sorry that this particular keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered but has been left on view as an example of one of the very few  keyrings for Lamborghini with a vitreous enamel badge which we have listed over the years .

An original keyfob badge for Lamborghini which will have been produced in the 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

This badge will not be a genuine Lamborghini item – it will have been made in England at the time .

Original leather keyrings and keyfob badges for Lamborghini are rare items and we have listed very few for sale over the years.

This rare keyfob badge is in vitreous enamel and is in excellent condition – it is only the 2nd or 3rd example which we have listed over the last 10 years.

We have remounted the badge onto a new leather keyfob in full grain black leather.

This badge will probably have been made by one of the smaller Birmingham badgemakers – there is no maker’s mark on the back of the badge which is quite unusual for an original badge.

Lamborghini cars were even rarer on British roads in the 1970s than they are now – so it would have taken a brave English badgemaker to have made Lamborghini keyrings in the 1970s – with very little prospect of selling many .

At that time almost all keyrings and badges for the world’s cars were made in England – it was quite an industry.

We have occasionally seen modern copies of this badge – but these had been made using modern resin based enamel rather than vitreous enamel like this badge.
