Lamborghini tractor - original vintage 1960s? keychain

NOW SOLD – sorry this keychain has now been sold but has been left on view as a rare example of a Lamborghini tractor keychain .

An original Lamborghini tractor keychain which we would think will have been produced in the 1960s .

We have just this one example of this keychain to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This is only the 2nd Lamborghini keychain which we have ever listed over the years .

This keychain is in very good condition with a bronze or gunmetal medallion which would respond to being polished with metal polish – but we will leave that up to you !

The square medallion measures 33mm x 33mm and is connected to a short nickel plated chain & splitring .

The splitring is a small ‘diamond cut ‘ bevel edged splitring which will date from the 1960s or 1970s but we cannot be sure that the chain & splitring are the originals which were originally fitted to the medallion .

Lamborghini was founded in 1948 as a producer of agricultural tractors .

A new plant was opened in 1956 and in 1962 a new series of 4WD tractors with air cooled motors was produced.

The story of how Lamborghini started producing cars is a famous story ……………………..!

Feruccio Lamborghini famously moved into producing cars after an argument with Enzo Ferrari about a faulty clutch in Feruccio’s Ferrari 250GT !
