Lambretta - original vintage early 1960s keyring - collector's item in worn condition

An original Lambretta keyring which will have been made in the early 1960s or possibly the late 1950s.

This is the only example which we have to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This keyring is the only example which we have ever seen and will certainly be the earliest Lambretta keyring which we have ever listed.

It is in well worn but serviceable condition as can be seen in the photos.

The nickel plating has worn through on the high points of the medallion to reveal the base metal below.

The genuine leather strap is well worn but intact.

The little buckle on the leather strap has lost all of it’s plating and has surface rust as has the key clasp which does still open to allow a key to be fitted.

The maker’s name is so indistinct that it cannot be read but with difficulty & a strong magnifying glass the place of manufacture ( London ) can just be made out.

This keyring is a scarce collector’s item which would be appreciated by a Lambretta collector .
