This keyring is in brand new condition – goodness knows how it has remained in this ‘time warp’ condition over the last 50 years – it looks so fresh as though it has just been made yesterday .

The vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine dark tan pigskin leather .

Most unusual for a motor scooter or motorcycle keyring to be produced in pigskin leather which was ( and is ! ) a most expensive ‘luxury’ material .

It is thought that this Lambretta keyring will have been produced in London ( probably by Premier Badges of London who specialised in producing pigskin leather keyrings )

At that time motor scooters such as Lambretta were a high fashion mode of transport for the smart London set who would appreciate the quality of a pigskin leather keyfob and were well able to afford to buy one.

This keyring is original & correct for use with any 1960s Lambretta motor scooter.
