Lancia - original 1970s ? key pouch

An original Lancia leather key pouch which we would think will have been made in the 1970s .

Just this one key pouch to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

Difficult to date – but by the vitreous enamel badge and general style of this item we would think it will date from the 1970s.

In very good condition with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a key pouch in genuine black leather gold embossed ‘REAL LEATHER’.

The leather has become very supple and has lost it’s original gloss and depth of black colour which we find rather pleasing – it would polish up again by the use of black shoe polish – but we will leave this decision to you .

The leather pouch has a leather strap running through it – the car keys are attached to the split ring on one end of the strap and are then protruding from the pouch and ready to be inserted into the ignition.

When the keys are not being used in the car the leather strap is pulled upwards which retracts the keys into the pouch .

The leather strap is then secured to the pouch by a press stud .

The keys are now safely inside the pouch – a very clever design which we do very occasionally see examples of for other makes of car .
