1 in stock
An original Land Rover keyring which will have been issued in the 1990s or very early 2000s
We have just this one keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
The green oval badge is the badge which we all associate with Land Rover and is correct for almost all Series Land Rovers, 90s & 110 and all Defenders together with Discovery, Freelander and early 2000s Range Rover. .
These Land Rover Assistance keyrings were the standard issue with new Land Rover vehicles in the 1990s & early 2000s .
This keyring is in excellent condition and will have received very little if any use with a genuine vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob of generous thickness.
The badge and splitring are gold plated rather than nickel plated which was the more usual version .
The ‘phone no. for assistance is gold embossed onto the keyfob beneath the badge together with a no. for Autoglass for if the keyholder was unfortunate enough to need a new windscreen .
On the reverse of the leather keyfob is a clear plastic panel where the details of the vehicle can be inserted – this is currently occupied by a small slip of paper bearing ‘ No. 10’ as can be seen in the photos – presumably a stock no .
These keyrings will have been made by the Manhattan Windsor Co. of Birmingham who made most Land Rover keyrings from the 1970s through to the early 2000s when they sadly closed .
The reverse of the badge is not stamped with the Manhattan Windsor logo as Land Rover probably asked that this be deleted.
