Land Rover Series III - original vintage 1970s keyring with damaged enamel badge

An original Land Rover keyring which will have been produced in the 1970s .

Just this one example to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

Please note that the vitreous enamel badge has chips in the enamel .

This original Land Rover keyring is in good condition ( apart from the chips in the enamel badge ) with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob in black faux leather .

The enamel chips in the yellow enamel at the edge of the base of the badge can be seen in the enlarged high resolution listing photos .

The keyring is in excellent serviceable condition despite the enamel chips .

A few years ago a keyring with enamel chips would not have been considered saleable but attitudes have changed dramatically .

Original Land Rover keyrings like this one are very few & far between – in any condition at all  – the keyrings are very much rarer than the vehicles themselves.

In the 1970s Land Rovers were essentially working vehicles and Land Rover keyrings suffered the same level of use & abuse as the vehicles themselves – with the result that very few original keyrings have survived.

This is only the 2nd example of one of these keyrings that we remember listing .

This keyring is original & correct for use with 1971 onwards Series III Land Rover .
