Lotus - original 1980s/1990s keyring with acrylic badge

An original Lotus keyring which we would think will have been produced in the 1980s or 1990s .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This keyring is in good condition with an acrylic badge mounted onto a keyfob in black faux leather and is very similar to one which was sold recently .

Some slight loss of nickel plating at the top of the metal loop which is hardly noticeable but can just be seen in the enlarged high resolution listing photos .

The badge is mounted onto the keyfob by means of an aluminium rivet securing the badge loop – this method of keyring construction carried on through the 1980s into the 1990s and possibly beyond then .

Keyrings like this one almost became ‘standard issue’ and many Lotus cars would have been driven with them at the time.

Whilst being budget priced they were well made .
