Lotus – original 1990s? keyring

An original Lotus keyring which we would think will have been produced in the 1990s or early 2000s .

Very difficult to date as keyrings like this one were produced from the late 1980s until relatively recently .

We have just this one keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This keyring is in brand new condition – which leads us to think that it was made relatively recently .

However the badge is gilt plated and is in ‘old school’ vitreous enamel – keyrings which have been produced recently are generally now in modern resin based enamel – not vitreous enamel .

The badge is mounted onto a keyfob in black imitation leather .

The splitring is nickel plated – which does not match the gilt plating of the badge – this is how it will have been originally produced.

‘ Made in England’ on the reverse of the badge …………..almost all car keyrings produced nowadays are produced overseas .
