Lotus – original vintage late 1970s/ early 1980s keyring

An original vintage Lotus keyring which will have been produced in the late 1970s or early 1980s.

An example of one of the types of keyrings which were being used in Lotus cars around 40 years ago.

This keyring is in good serviceable condition with a vitreous enamel badge .

The badge is mounted onto a keyfob in black faux leather which is plainly gold embossed with the genuine leather symbol !

This was common practice at the time before trades descriptions legislation had grown teeth.

The faux leather keyfob does show some signs of wear and the gold embossing is worn .
