Manurhin Scooter – original vintage 1950s keyring with black leather keyfob- rare collector’s item

An original vintage Manurhin keyring which will have been produced in the 1950s.

This keyring is in excellent condition and could well be new old stock having never been used.

The vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a genuine black leather keyfob and was made by SCHALL in England – their details are cast into the back of the badge.

SCHALL are a badgemaker who we seldom come across – no information remains of who they were .

They can only have been in business for a very short time – in the 1950s and 1960s almost all motor cycle & scooter keyrings were made in England – it was quite an industry.

Production of Manurhin scooters began in France in 1952 and carried on until 1962.

The main models were the Hobby and the MR75 – both of which had automatic transmission.

In 1957 Manurhin sold the most scooters worldwide after Lambretta & Vespa.
