Maserati – original vintage 1970s new old stock keyring by Kings International

An original Maserati keyring which we would think will have been produced in the 1970s .

We are listing just this one example of this keyring and the one in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .

When it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

Original Maserati leather keyrings in this condition are relatively scarce items and we have listed very few over the years .

This keyring is in new old stock condition and will never have been used .

The nickel plated badge has bright red and Royal blue vitreous enamelling and is mounted onto a keyfob gold embossed on the reverse :- ‘TOP GRAIN  LEATHER ‘

Very difficult to determine if the keyfob is in genuine black leather – we assume it is but it could be faux leather which was also used for keyfobs at the time .

‘KINGS INT’L.  N.Y.C.  10011 ‘ is marked on the reverse of the badge .

There was a badge manufacturer in New York , USA known as ‘King’s International ‘ who marked their badges ‘ N.Y.C. ‘ ( New York City )

Details and identities of  many manufacturers like Kings have sadly become lost in time having never been properly recorded and are now probably lost forever – but it would appear that this keyring was produced in USA .

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive and would be correct for use with a Maserati of the period or could be used with a later car as a ‘retro’ keyring for those who like to drive with an ‘old school’ keyring – as we do ourselves !
