Mazda - original vintage 1970s melsom products keyring with black leather keyfob ( with small enamel flaw )

The keyring in this listing is an original vintage item which will have been produced over 40 years ago .

Please note that the enamel badge has a small flaw at 2 0’clock on the face of the badge – this can be plainly seen in the enlarged high resolution photos .

This keyring came to us in a collection of keyrings which had been in store since the 1970s .

The keyring is in excellent condition ( probably new old stock ) with a nickel plated badge in blue vitreous enamel mounted onto a genuine black leather keyfob- but the enamel badge does have the flaw mentioned above.

Made by Melsom Products Ltd of Birmingham – Melsom’s details are cast into the back of the badge .

Obviously made at the time for a Mazda distributor in SE France whose details are gold embossed onto the back of the leather keyfob .

At that time almost all keyrings for the world’s cars were made in England – it was quite an industry.

This keyring is original & correct for any 1970s onwards Mazda motor car and is a rare survivor of the keyrings which were actually being used in the cars at the time.
