£65.00

1 in stock

An original Mercedes Benz Club keyring which we would think will have been produced in the 1970s or early 1980s .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This keyring is in new old stock condition with an acrylic dome badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather – it will never have been used .

It will have been produced by Renamel Ltd in their original No. 10 Kilburn High Road, London works .

Renamel produced some of the first acrylic badged keyrings in the late 1970s & early 1980s which had the very real advantage over traditional vitreous enamel badged keyrings in that the badge did not crack or break when dropped onto a hard surface .

Their original badges were marked ‘ made in england’ or ‘ london-england ‘ on the reverse in their distinctive lower case type script ( like this one is ) but later badges produced soon after this keyring were no longer marked.

Renamel’s keyrings were almost always produced in imitation leather but this keyring is an exception as the keyfob is in genuine leather probably because it was produced for a club catering for a prestigious marque .

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
