1 in stock
An original Mercedes Benz keyfob badge which will have been produced in the 196os which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.
Just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .
This original vitreous enamel badge is in very good condition and we have remounted it onto a new keyfob in tan pigskin leather .
Although not marked as such – the badge will have been produced by the famous CUD company ( Castles Unit Development Co. of Leicester – famed for their torpedo keyrings )
The open perforations which are part of the badge design would have interfered with the usual CUD branding – all that is stated is ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ .
We have remounted the badge onto a new leather keyfob in tan pigskin leather which was a material often used for Mercedes Benz keyrings at the time and was prized for it’s durability and appearance .
The pigskin leather which we have used is vintage material itself being around 40 years old and having come to us from a closed Midlands factory which had been using it for producing wallets & purses and also covering hip flasks ……….remember those ?
A superb keyring with a badge which will be original & correct for use with any 1960s Mercedes Benz – or could be used with a later car as the Mercedes Benz badge has changed very little over the years and would still be relevant .
The keyring in the photos is the actual one will you will receive
