Mercedes Benz - original new old stock 1980s? dealership keyring

An original Mercedes Benz dealership keyring which we would think will have been issued in the 1980s .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

An example of the type of good quality keyring which would have been issued with a new Mercedes Benz motor car 40 years or so ago – with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine navy blue leather – at first sight we thought the keyfob was in a very high grade of faux leather but on close examination are pretty sure that it is genuine leather !

The dealership who issued this keyring even attended to the small detail of using navy blue leather for the keyfob  ( Many original keyrings for Mercedes Benz were produced in navy blue leather at the time )

The keyring is in new old stock condition .

The vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a keyfob gold embossed with the dealership’s details .

The badge is typically a 1970s design badge but there was considerable carry over in design detail and we are fairly sure that this keyring will have been issued later than the 1970s .

This keyring would be the perfect addition to a car known to have been supplied by this dealership at the time or could be used with any Mercedes Benz car of the period.

We do not generally list original dealership keyrings for many makes of car – but there seems to be particular interest by owners of Mercedes Benz cars and we receive quite a few original Mercedes Benz dealership keyfob badges for remounting – which is not the case for other makes of car .
