MG ( MGA ) – original vintage 1960s vitreous enamel on gilt badge remounted onto a new keyfob in British racing green leather

An original MG keyfob badge which will have been produced in the 1960s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

When this keyring with this badge has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This keyring has an original 1960s vitreous enamel on gilt badge which we have remounted onto a new keyfob in full grain ‘vintage’ British Racing Green leather .

The gilt plated vitreous enamel badge is in really excellent condition and will probably have been made with MGA or MG Magnette in mind.

The jewellery quality vitreous enamelling was individually hand laid and is in solid white and solid black enamel and is as fresh as the day which it emerged from the firing kiln.

No maker’s name on the back but almost certainly made in Birmingham .

In the 1960s there were dozens of small vitreous enamellers in Birmingham – very few of which have left any trace of their existence or whereabouts .
