MG ( MGB, MGB GT V8 etc ) - original 1970s black vitreous enamel on chrome badge remounted onto a new keyfob in burgundy leather

These final three original new old stock MG keyfob badges which will have been produced in the 1970s which we have had repolished are now offered remounted onto new leather keyfobs in burgundy leather as can be seen in the photos .

We have just 3 burgundy leather keyrings with these final badges to offer – when all 3 have been sold then this listing will be cancelled.

These final 3 keyfob badges are very rare & very special – when these 3 keyrings have been sold we are most unlikely to ever see any more of these badges .

These original black vitreous enamel on chrome MG keyfob badges will have been produced in the 1970s by the well respected Manhattan Windsor Co. in Birmingham – sadly now closed

Manhattan Windsor were the chosen manufacturer for most MG keyfob badges and keyrings at the time .

Their details are cast onto the back of each badge.

These badges will have been made in the 1970s and were apparently never issued – as we have never seen any examples of this exact design in circulation.

Even though the badges are new old stock – after 40+ years in storage the plating had become dull so we had these badges repolished by our badgemaker .

The badges are date correct for later MGB & MGB GT MK II & Mk III and ( rubber bumper ) MGB – also MGB GT V8 together with later Midget .

There are no hard & fast rules because owners would buy a keyring and then use it for years in a succession of later cars.

Back ‘ in the day ‘ Manhattan Windsor produced MG keyrings in black leather & occasionally in burgundy leather .

These black & chrome badges really look the part mounted onto keyfobs in burgundy leather – so we thought we would push the boat out with these 3 special badges and mount them onto keyfobs in burgundy leather !
