MG Midget – original vintage 1980s keyring in road worn condition

An original MG Midget keyring which we would think will have been produced in the 1980s .

We have just this one example of this keyring in this condition to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This keyring is in good serviceable condition and has many miles left in it yet – but the vitreous enamel badge is chipped and the keyfob is well worn in .

The keyfob is in genuine black leather with the leather symbol and ‘ MADE IN ENGLAND ‘ gold embossed onto the reverse – the embossing is now worn but still legible .

A keyring in this condition could have been considered unsaleable a few years ago but attitudes have changed dramatically – owners of unrestored cars actively seek keyrings in this condition which have ‘ had a life ‘ to use with their cars .

Interestingly this design of MG Midget keyring carried on into the 1990s and early 200os – we currently have a new old stock keyring dating from then currently listed in the website shop ( unless now sold )
