MG – original vintage 1970s Manhattan Windsor Unipart keyring in well used condition

The keyring in this listing is an original MG Unipart keyring which will have been produced in the 1970s .

We have just this one keyring in this well used condition to offer   – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This keyring is in well used condition with a heavy gunmetal badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine full grain black leather .

The heavy polished gunmetal badge is in very good condition ( a badge as robust as this one is literally bombproof and would be difficult to damage ! ) and is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine  black leather .

The leather keyfob is in very well used condition and the leather keyfob has become worn and polished with use over the years .

This keyring will have covered many thousands of miles probably in several MG cars with the same owner but has many more miles left in it yet !

It is still in a completely serviceable condition but if your idea of the perfect keyring is mint perfection …………..then this keyring is certainly not for you .

A few years ago a keyring in this condition would have been considered hardly saleable but attitudes have changed dramatically and owners of original unmolested cars now actively seek keyrings in this condition – all the hard work of ‘ageing’ has already been done !

The keyring was originally made by Manhattan Windsor of Birmingham who produced some of the best quality automotive keyrings which have ever been made – their M over W logo can be seen on the back of the badge .

Keyrings like this one were then marketed by Unipart who revolutionised the British automotive aftermarket in the 1970s.
