MG - original vintage early 1960s Sculthorp keyring with leather keyfob - collector's item

Original MG keyrings dating from the early 1960s in this condition are relatively scarce items as they tended to be used – very often in open topped cars .

They soon became damaged or lost and were not particularly valued at the time – this one is a rare survivor of a quality MG keyring from the time .

This keyring is in very good condition for it’s age with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather .

The badge is in excellent condition without the usual enamel chips and has Sculthorp of London’s details on the reverse .

Sculthorps were a relatively small concern who produced car and motorcycle keyrings from the late 1950s until around the mid 1960s .

The genuine black leather keyfob is pleasingly well worn in but is still in very good serviceable condition – this keyring probably has another 55 years of motoring left in it yet !

A superb original MG keyring which is date correct for use with any late 1950s or 1960s MG motor car- TF, Magnette, late MGA, early Midget & early MGB .

This keyring is an example of the ‘definitive keyring’ which would have been used with all of those cars at the time and looks just right in all of them – a rare survivor
