MG ( TD, TF & MGA ) – original vintage late 1950s/ early 1960s keyring with shield badge mounted onto a keyfob in white leather

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

What a lovely keyring !

An original MG keyring from the late 1950s or possibly early 1960s and in superb condition .

The vitreous enamel badge in solid white & translucent red enamel is mounted onto a nickel plated shield shaped metal mount which is in turn mounted onto a keyfob in genuine white leather .

A most unusual & distinctive keyring which will be original & correct for use with MG TD, TF and MGA – also Magnette .

MG TD & TF were produced between 1949 & 1955 at a time when car keyrings had not yet appeared .

When car keyrings first became available after the mid 1950s owners of TDs & TFs bought keyrings like this one to use with their cars .

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.

We have seen similar keyrings for other makes of vehicle including Jaguar & Fiat but have never found the identity of the manufacturer of these shield keyrings . SMOSO  00/521    11/24
