Mitsubishi Motors - original late 1960s vitreous enamel on gilt badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

A very early Mitsubishi keyfob badge which will have been produced in the late 1960s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob in full grain black leather as can be seen in the photos.

This vitreous enamel badge really does look it’s age and is a rare example of a very early Mitsubishi keyfob badge.

These early gilt badges have mellowed over the years as this one has to give a particularly aged appearance .

The solid black & translucent red vitreous enamel will have been hand laid and no two badges ever turned out the same .

This badge has a ‘fish eye’ in the black enamel at 9 o’clock on the face of the badge which will have been there since the enamel was fired in the furnace .
