Mitsubishi - original 1980s acrylic badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Mitsubishi keyfob badge which will have been produced in the 1980s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

When this keyring with this badge has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

An original Mitsubishi keyfob badge similar to those made by Renamel Ltd of Kilburn High Road, London .

The acrylic dome badge is in good condition and we have remounted it onto a new keyfob in black saddlery hide.

Renamel were the first manufacturer to make keyrings with these acrylic badges which have lasted very well over the years and do have the advantage over the more traditional vitreous enamel badges in that they do not chip if dropped onto a hard concrete floor !

Other manufacturers then followed suit although they seldom marked their keyrings with their name ( This keyring was not made by Renamel )
