Morris 1100 - original vintage 1960s Avon Cliff keyring with dove grey keyfob

An original new old stock Morris 1100 keyring which will have been produced in the 1960s.

When this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

One of four original new old stock Morris 1100 keyrings which came to us recently – these are original and correct for use with 1962 -1974 Morris 1100.

All of these were made by Avon Cliff badgemakers in the 1960s .

These are the very best examples of original keyrings for Morris 1100  which we have ever seen – it would be very difficult to improve on one of these.

The keyrings have different coloured leathers and stitching colours.

It is unbelievable how much trouble Avon Cliff put into making these keyrings which must have been individually hand selected and stitched to achieve such variation.

Nowadays this level of attention is termed ‘bespoke’ – here we see an example of this taking place over 50 years ago !

The particular keyring in this listing is in very good condition with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine dove grey leather .

The little leather strap holding the badge onto the keyfob and the back of the leather keyfob are in a different greenish- yellow colour as can be seen in the listing photos.

Whether this could be  intentional or whether the front or the back of the keyring has faded in sunlight we are not sure .
