Morris - original 1950s vitreous enamel oval badge with replaced keychain

An original very early Morris keychain badge which will have been produced in the 1950s to which we have attached a  replacement keychain as described below.

Keychains like this one were used in cars in the 1950s just before leather keyrings as we still know them today came into general use in the very late 1950s & 1960s .

The badge is in very good condition in vitreous enamel and measures just 1.25″ ( 30mm ) in width .

The badge would originally have been mounted onto a keychain but came to us without the original keychain – so we have attached a replacement keychain ( snakechain ) as can be seen in the photos.

This keychain is not actually ‘new’ as it is a vintage new old stock keychain which will probably date from the 1960s.

The keychain in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
