1 in stock

An original Morris keychain badge which will have been produced in the 1950s to which we have attached a replaced keychain as described below.

When this keychain badge with replaced chain has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

Keychains like this one were used in cars in the 1950s just before leather keyrings as we still know them today came into general use in the very late 1950s & 1960s .

The badge is in excellent condition in vitreous enamel and measures just 1.00″ ( 25mm ) in diameter  .

The red enamel has ‘fisheyes’ in it as can be seen in the enlarged high resolution listing photos – in the 1950s the enamel was individually hand laid and did not always fill the badge uniformly – all part of the charm of these vintage badges !

It is only in the enlarged listing photos that the ‘fisheyes’ are particularly noticeable – when viewed at life size they are hardly noticeable .

The badge would originally have been mounted onto a keychain but came to us without the original keychain – so we have attached a replacement keychain as can be seen in the photos.

This replacement keychain is not actually ‘new’ as it is a vintage new old stock keychain which will probably date from the 1960s.

The keychain in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.

When it has been sold this listing  will be cancelled .
