Moto Guzzi – original late 1970s vitreous enamel badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

The keyring in this listing has an original Moto Guzzi keyfob badge which will have been produced in the late 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

Sadly original Moto Guzzi keyfob badges like this one seem to be very scarce and it is some time since we last listed a keyring with a similar badge .

This is the only keyring we have for sale with this badge – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

Original keyrings & keyfob badges for Moto Guzzi motorcycles are likely to be scarce as they were used on open motorcycles in all weathers and soon became damaged or lost .

We have just this one example of this original vitreous enamel Moto Guzzi keyfob badge which we have remounted onto one of our hand made & hand stitched slimline teardrop keyfobs in black saddlery hide .

The vitreous enamel badge is in excellent condition ( one of the best ones which we have seen ) and is one of very few that we have ever listed .

‘ MADE IN ENGLAND ‘ marked on the back of the badge .

This is a very early example of the post 1978 winged eagle logo with a curved top to the outspread wings.

The badge on this keyring is original & correct for any late 1970s Moto Guzzi motorcycle – would be perfect for a 1978 onwards 850cc Le Mans –  the very earliest 1976 machines should technically have the earlier logo design.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.

This badge design will probably have been reproduced recently – modern reproductions will now be in modern resin based enamel rather than ‘old school’ enamel like this one and are most unlikely to be marked ‘MADE IN ENGLAND ‘ as they will have been made in The Far East . SMOSO  00/57   08/23
