Mulberry – genuine original ‘vintage’ keyring in used condition

An original Mulberry keyring which will probably have been produced in the 1980s .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

Original ‘vintage’ keyrings from the early days of Mulberry are very collectible items.

Roger Saul founded Mulberry in 1971 from his Mother’s kitchen table naming his business after the Mulberry trees which he passed every day on his way to school in Somerset .

This keyring has a nickel plated badge with the Mulberry tree with the serial no.808587 stamped onto the back of the badge .

The badge is mounted onto a genuine leather keyfob with a crocodile hide print ( not genuine crocodile hide ) with a heavy shackle for attaching keys by means of a splitring .

The leather keyfob is well worn in and has become supple with use like a comfortable pair of shoes – this is the condition which collector’s prefer and is the result of many years of use.

The original nickel plating on the shackle has worn off in many places to reveal the underlying brass metal.
