Neckar – original vintage 1970s keyring

NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold but has been left on view as an example of an original Neckar keyring – the only one which we have ever listed.

An original Neckar keyring which will have been produced in the 1970s.

Just this one example to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This is the only Neckar keyring which we have ever seen & listed  – a very rare item .

The keyring is in excellent condition and can hardly have been used.

The vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine tan leather and the construction is typical 1970s – featuring an aluminium rivet securing the badge to the leather keyfob.

‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ cast into the reverse of the badge – in the 1970s almost all keyrings for the world’s cars were made in England – it was quite an industry.

NSU – FIAT was a German car manufacturer which produced Fiat vehicles under license .

In 1957 the name was changed to ‘NECKAR’ and Fiat cars were produced in Germany as Neckars until 1971.
