An original late 1960s Oldsmobile Cutlass keyring .

This keyring is in excellent condition with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob in faux black leather .

In the 1960s most keyrings for the world’s cars were made in England – it was quite an industry- but this keyring is rather interesting as the badge was made in England whilst the keyfob is stamped ”ECHT LEDER’ which is German for ‘REAL LEATHER’ !

The keyfob is not actually genuine leather – it is faux leather – but we have never seen ‘ECHT LEDER’ on a keyfob before .

We do wonder if a UK manufacturer was making these keyrings at the time as a special order for American forces stationed in Germany at that time .

The keyring is original & correct for 1961 onwards Oldsmobile Cutlass.
