Penny Black postage stamp keyring – original vintage new old stock 1960s? item

An original keyring which we would think will have been produced in the 1960s .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

We like to be able to offer other interesting keyrings as well as car & motorcycle keyrings – and keyrings do not come much more unusual than this one !

This keyring is in mint condition with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob in black faux leather .

The badge is a perfect copy of the most famous stamp in the world – the Victorian penny black stamp .

‘BRITISH MADE’ marked on the back of the badge – how often do you hear that statement nowadays ?

Cannot imagine why this keyring would have been produced ……………..it would not commemorate the 100th anniversary as the first penny black was issued on 6th May 1840 .

Maybe the 125th anniversary which would have been in 1965 ?
