An original Peugeot keyfob badge which will have been produced in the late 1960s or early 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .

We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This gilt plated vitreous enamel keyfob badge is in very good condition and we have remounted it onto a new keyfob in black saddlery hide .

In the late 1960s & early 1970s many vitreous enamel badges still had the enamel individually laid by hand – this is evident in the enamel in this badge – no two badges would have ever turned out exactly the same – a rather nice attribute of these early enamel keyfob badges .

The gilt plating would originally have been bright – but this brightness has mellowed over the years to give a soft ‘ antique gold ‘ appearance .

Doubtless the gilt plating would respond to polishing with metal polish but we much prefer it as it is – so will leave this up to you !

Made by Freeline badgemakers of Bristol – we do see their keyring and badges for other makes of car as well from time to time .

‘ FREELINE BRISTOL ENGLAND ’ marked on the back of the badge – at that time almost all keyrings and keyfob badges for the world’s cars were still made in England .

It was quite an industry .

This badge will be original & correct for use with any Peugeot motor car of the period .

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
